As a scientist, its important to use knowledge to help the rest of the world, as well as our own country. Some countries have a greater need for help than others, like Ethiopia. Like some other countries in Africa, it is still developing, and still has problems such as clean water supply and sources of energy. The subject of green chemistry may hold the solution to these problems.

The best way of solving these problems is by helping the country develop better technologies. To help do this we need to teach the children these topics. I think that having someone from outside the country explaining the importance of green chemistry could really get the pupils interested in science as a career.
And what better way to do this than to go there to teach and do some cool demonstrations! I hope that answers your question.
