I think cancer research would manage fine without me, however I hope my research will have an impact on curing cancer. We want to personalise treatment, as treatment is kinda one size fits all and we know people and cancers are all different. We want to be able to work out which would be the best treatment for each patient and their cancer, so we don’t waste money and give them side effects when it won’t help make them better. This is callled personalised treatment. My research will hopefully help some patients.
